I am requesting information on a more down to earth spiritual approach dealing with NW Colorado current situation on captive elk herds etc. I live in Hayden and am distraught over what is happening along with many other people; one of my first responses was that "the wild animals ought to be left to stay wild" and that our eco-system is at natures mercy; as I have always respected American Indian ritualsand prayer, I feel the need to contact the Ute people for suggestions or offers via ceremony for Colorado's wildlife future.
